Royal Challengers Bangalore To Win the Match, 1.91
RCB has lost all of its matches in IPL 2019 so far
KKR has good form on its side but it has tended to depend on Andre Russell a bit too much this season
We think that RCB is getting the right set of players in its side and is due some luck on its side as वेल

Royal Challengers Bangalore slipped to their fourth consecutive defeat in IPL 2019 and now find themselves in a very sticky spot. Assuming 8 wins is what will get you through to the IPL 2019 playoffs, RCB now needs to win 8 out of its 10 remaining matches. The task ahead of RCB is not about to get any easier just yet.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders at home. RCB vs KKR IPL 2019 in Bengaluru may appear to be a mismatch of sorts. After all, RCB has lost all of its matches this season and has appeared the worst side of the tournament while KKR has been extremely impressive. KKR narrowly lost out in the Super Over to the Delhi Capitals and will be keen to get back to winning ways.

Can RCB finally break their losing streak against KKR?

Virat Kohli made a couple of changes to his side in the previous match against the Rajasthan Royals but they did not pay off. Marcus Stoinis was brought into the side in place of Colin de Grandhomme while the other three overseas players remained the same. We suspect it is time to bring in Nathan Coulter-Nile, Henrich Klaasen, and Washington Sundar into the mix in place of Shimron Hetmyer, Moeen Ali, and maybe Navdeep Saini.
RCB needs to start afresh and this may mean trying a few more combinations but we don’t think there is any other alternative.

RCB is also not helping its cause by refusing to players in their best roles. Marcus Stoinis has made a lot of runs opening the batting for his BBL side and even Australia. Slotting him in the middle order is limiting the impact he can have on the game.

Parthiv Patel scored runs in the previous match and deserves to remain as the opener but Kohli should definitely come back to number three. Royal Challengers Bangalore have to find ways of getting their batting in top-form and somehow making the bowling more effective.

KKR is a very strong batting side and RCB cannot afford to offer them up easy deliveries or drop catches. One of the things that we look for in a struggling team is its fielding. RCB dropped easy catches and did not help their cause at all.

Constantly changing the side does not help the team settle but there does not seem to be any alternative. Right now, Royal Challengers Bangalore are just waiting for a brilliant individual performance to help them win.

The Kolkata Knight Riders have been the most impressive team in IPL 2019. They may have lost their previous match to Delhi but they showed just why they are regarded as serious title contenders this year.

KKR had to deal with an injury to Sunil Narine and that upset their plans. They opted to play with three overseas players and gave Nikhil Naik a chance at the top of the order. He looked out his depth at the top of the order and did not bowl a single ball.
The return of Sunil Narine is likely but if for some reason he does not recover fully, we expect to see a different player in place of Naik. Shubman Gill is another player that could open the batting for KKR.

Andre Russell continued his incredible run with 62 off 28 balls. He smashed six sixes in the inning and helped KKR recover from a difficult position. With batsmen like Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, and Shubman Gill in the side as well, the Kolkata batting lineup is very strong.

The bowlers will have to be at their best in Bengaluru. Playing three spinners might be a stretch on the small ground so Piyush Chawla could miss out. Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine, Lockie Ferguson, Andre Russell, and PrasidhKrishna gives KKR a very strong batting lineup as well.

There has been some talk about the weakness of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to the googly so Kuldeep Yadav could get an early run against the pair of them when they come in to bat.

The side winning the toss is likely to want to field first. Chinnaswamy is a ground that favors the team chasing and winning the toss is a big advantage.

RCB vs KKR IPL 2019 is about to be played at the Chinnaswamy ground, Bengaluru. The weather is expected to be good on match day. There is a very slight chance of rain and the temperatures should remain quite comfortable also.

The pitch in Bengaluru has been better than last year by a big margin. The ball is coming on to the bat nicely and plenty of runs are being scored. We expect another high-scoring match to be played out between the two sides in this match as well.

Doing well and actually winning something in the Dream 11 competitions requires taking some risks, particularly in picking the captain and vice-captain. That is what we have tried to do in this selection.

Wicketkeeper: The option here is between Dinesh Karthik, Parthiv Patel, and Heinrich Klassen (who could very well play in this match). We have picked Dinesh Karthik who scored a fifty in his previous match and can clear the boundaries at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

Batsmen: We have picked AB de Villiers, Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana, and Robin Uthappa in our side. All four are top-order batsmen that have a tremendous power game. Lynn has not done anything of note in the IPL up until now but he is one of the most fearsome hitters of the cricket ball. We have not picked Virat Kohli because something just looks a bit off in his game to us right now.

All-rounders: We think Washington Sundar is sure to get a game in this upcoming match and have picked him in the side. He is a very god off-spinner and can bat well too. Andre Russell and Marcus Stoinis should be automatic selections in every side.

Bowlers: We have space for three bowlers in our team. Yuzvendra Chahal, Lockie Ferguson, and Nathan Coulter-Nile are the names we have chosen for this game. Chahal is in excellent form and by far the best RCB bowler while the other two are genuine wicket-takers at each stage of the game.

Dinesh Karthik
AB de Villiers
Chris Lynn
Nitish Rana
Robin Uthappa
Andre Russell
Marcus Stoinis
Washington Sundar
Yuzvendra Chahal
Lockie Ferguson
Nathan Coulter-Nile

Current form is one of the most important things we look at when it comes to the IPL. RCB has shown very little in that respect. Their playing eleven is not settled, the positions of the players keep changing, and the bowling attack is very weak. That being said, they still have two of the world’s best batsmen in their lineup that can singlehandedly win matches.

KKR has more power in its ranks and a more settled side. They have, however, been bailed out by Russell in the matches they have played so far. Depending on that to happen is dangerous. KKR may have beaten RCB in the last four matches they have played against them, but we are backing Virat Kohli and his men to get off the mark in this match.

Back Royal Challengers Bangalore to win.
