Delhi Capitals have the stronger batting lineup filled with more hitting power

Sanju Samson and Steve Smith must score runs for the Rajasthan Royals to have a chance of winning. The Rajastahn bowling attack is also weaker than Delhi's.

Both teams competing in this match won their previous match and so will be confident about their team setups. The Rajasthan Royals got their third win of IPL 2019 and remained alive in the race for a playoff spot.

The Royals cannot afford too many more mistakes from this stage and must hope to get on a winning run. They will be hosting the Delhi Capitals, who have six wins from their ten matches and are close to qualifying for the playoffs.

Rajasthan has found success after making Steve Smith the captain and bringing some changes to their team composition while Delhi will be happy to be playing away from home again in conditions that should suit them quite well.

This will be the first time that the Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals play against each other in IPL 2019. The match is going to be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

The Rajasthan Royals took the brave move of removing Ajinkya Rahane from the captaincy and giving that responsibility to Steve Smith. It was a move that showed immediate results since it allowed Steve Smith to control the game much better.

Rahane has been struggling in IPL 2019 and not having to worry about the captaincy could actually help his batting as well. Rahul Tripathi can feel a little unlucky to have been dropped but promoting Sanju Samson to the top of the order is an excellent move.

The real star for the Rajasthan Royals in their previous win was Royan Prayag. The immensely talented teenager played a match-winning inning of 43 from just 29 deliveries. Smith was the senior partner and his 59 from 48 deliveries made sure that Rajasthan did not lose its way while chasing down 162.

Ben Stokes made his way back into the team but got out for zero and did not bowl a single over. His absence from the bowling duties could suggest that he is carrying a slight injury. The Rajasthan Royals need Ben Stokes to be at his absolute best if they are to have any hope of making it to the playoffs.

The Delhi Capitals have a very strong batting lineup and Rajasthan will need its bowling to be as effective as it was against the Mumbai Indians.

One of the biggest gains for the Rajasthan Royals in this tournament has been the emergence of Shreyas Gopal as a permanent member of the side. He is able to bowl his four overs without giving away too many runs and almost always picks up important wickets too.

The Rajasthan Royals put in an excellent performance against the Mumbai Indians where all their senior players performed well and that is exactly what they will need against Delhi as well.

Delhi finally managed to win a match at their home ground in the regulation number of overs. It took an excellent batting performance from Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan for the side to emerge victorious.

Delhi Capitals are now two or maybe even one victory away from qualifying for the playoff spot. That is going to be a huge achievement for them considering their terrible results in the last few years but we think they have a food chance of trying to finish in the top-2 as well.

The Delhi team should enjoy playing in Jaipur. The pitch is going to be flat and full of runs for their hard-hitting batsmen while the fast bowlers will also have some bounce to make use of.

The top-order for Delhi is in excellent form. Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, and Shreyas Iyer are all scoring runs consistently. We think that Rishab Pant could play a big inning in this match if gets a chance as well.

Colin Ingram at 5 is the last real recognized batsman for Delhi and that is the only potential weakness they have. Sherfane Rutherford played the previous match instead of Chris Morris and we are not sure if he will continue to keep his place.

His is a part-time bowler, not as good as Morris, and can hit the ball hard. Chris Morris is probably the better option but his form has not been very convincing this season. Delhi had made a few changes to its side in the last few matches according to the conditions and we think they will revert back to the playing eleven they started IPL 2019 with.

The team winning the toss is going to want to bat second. Teams like to have a target in front of them and both sides have had success while chasing in their previous matches.

RR vs DC IPL 2019 is going to be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. There is no chance of rain on match day in Jaipur and the humidity is expected to be at a manageable level as well. The pitch tends to be better batting under lights at this venue and so we are likely to a high-scoring match.

The Mumbai Indians made 161 and that looked to be at least 25 runs short of a par total. We think a score of around 185 is the least teams will want to have while batting first.

The Dream 11 team for the Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals is made keeping in mind the excellent batting conditions. There are some very good batsmen on both sides and that is where we have chosen to spend the bulk of our points.

Wicketkeeper: The choice between Sanju Samson and Rishab Pant is not easy. Both are excellent batsmen that can play the big inning but the higher batting position of Sanju Samson gives him an advantage. Samson was promoted to the top of the batting order and we hope that will continue in this match as well.

Batsmen: We have chosen the five top-order batsmen in the match to fill our Dram 11 side. Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane, and Jos Buttler. They are all excellent strikers of the ball and in relatively good form except for Ajinkya Rahane. He should be relatively lower owned than some of the other big names and could be a differentiating factor for the side.

All-rounders: We have picked Stuart Binny and Ben Stokes in the side. This is the only part of the selection which could change a little after the toss. Stokes is an excellent player to have in the side but if he is not going to bowl then his poor batting form becomes a bit of an issue. Stuart Binny has been bowling and batting pretty well in the recent matches to make him a solid pick as well.

Bowlers: We have picked Kagiso Rabada, Jofra Archer, and Shreyas Gopal as our three bowlers so far. These are easily the three most impressive bowlers in the two teams and some pretty straightforward picks. We could add another bowler instead of one of the all-rounders depending upon the pitch and the final team selection as well.

Captain and Vice-Captain: We have picked Jos Buttler and Shikar Dhawan as our captain and vice-captain of the side respectively.

The Rajasthan Royals have an excellent record against the Delhi Capitals. They have won four out of the last five matches against them and will have the advantage of home conditions as well. Looking at the strengths of the two sides, though, Delhi emerges as clearly the better team. They have more power and experience in their batting while the bowling is also far superior.

It will take something really special from Rajasthan to be able to stop this Delhi side.
